Voices of the Past

While many revolutions for peace have happened and many cries for pacifism have been echoed in many countries, there are a few individuals which have stood out for their amazing accomplishments and fierce determination to all that they believe in.
Of course, it is our duty and should be our honor to recognize and study these peoples, as they have provided the world with grand insight and inspired the masses with their passion and strong words. Whether we look at John Lennon, Gandhi, or even Martin Luther Kind Junior, these people had not only changed the world's view on peace, but shook the foundation of their cultures in more than one way. A few other pacifists to be included that list of people who changed the world? Albert Einstein, Jesus, Buddha, Jane Addams, and Alfred Nobel. Of course, these are but drops (or buckets?) within the ocean of great pacifists.
These wise voices of the past can help us understand and recognize our future, in order to shape it in a way that will positively affect our children and grandchildren. We can build a stronger, more whole future with less violence in every generation, if we learn to listen to the people who came before us.
While I am writing their biographies and information about them, please be patient with me. There is much to write about these people.
